Atlantic has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 12. They came up short against the Palm Beach Gardens Gators on Wednesday, falling 7-1. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Gators from their previous meeting back in December of 2020.

Atlantic's goal came courtesy of Camilla Cuyer Gimenez, which was the first she's scored this season.

Atlantic's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Palm Beach Gardens, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
