Academy for Classical Education had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Central Hawks on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Gryphons in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won three in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Academy for Classical Education took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Academy for Classical Education will challenge Jones County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central, they will head out to take on Rutland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
