The University School of Jackson Bruins's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 45-31 fall against Dyersburg. University School of Jackson was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dyersburg apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.
University School of Jackson's loss came despite strong showings from Ava Barham and Haylen Ayers. Barham scored 15 points, while Ayers scored 10 points.
Dyersburg got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Joya Crawford out in front who scored 11 points. The match was Crawford's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chelby Jordan, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds.
University School of Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Dyersburg, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
University School of Jackson is on the road again on Saturday and play against Huntingdon at 2:00 p.m. on November 25th. As for Dyersburg, they will square off against Whitehaven at 3:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
