The team also got some help courtesy of Campbell Coleman, who posted six points and seven rebounds. What's more, he posted two steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2024.
Ellinwood's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Trego, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
Ellinwood will head out to take on Syracuse at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Syracuse will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Ellinwood surely won't give up without a fight. Trego does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
