The Revere Minutemen will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Normandy Invaders at 7:00 p.m. Revere will be strutting in after a win while Normandy will be coming in after a loss.
Revere scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They walked away with a 61-49 win over Norwayne.
Meanwhile, Normandy ended up a good deal behind Lakewood on Saturday and lost 43-24. Normandy has struggled against Lakewood recently, as their game on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Izzy Akin, who scored five points along with 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ziley Minich, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Revere's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Normandy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
Revere strolled past Normandy in their previous matchup back in November of 2018 by a score of 76-60. Will Revere repeat their success, or does Normandy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
