Westview's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Antonio DeLeon led the charge by scoring 12 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points DeLeon has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Trey Griggs, who scored six points along with five assists and four steals.
Buena Vista dropped their record down to 0-15 with that defeat, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.1 points per game. As for Westview, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
