Football Recap: Brenden Peoples Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Keenan

Orangeburg-Wilkinson lost to Keenan back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Bruins blew past the Raiders 35-14. The Bruins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by 21 points or more this season.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brenden Peoples, who threw for 294 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. 105 of Peoples' passing yards were hauled in by Desi Miller, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson's record now sits at 5-0. As for Keenan, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Fox Creek at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Keenan, they will be playing at home against Chester at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Cyclones' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.2 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
