It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lakeview can now relate to. They fell just short of the Keystone Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lakeview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Doran, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Lakeview's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Keystone, they pushed their record up to 22-4 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Lakeview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Keystone, they will face off against Cardinal Mooney at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
