Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging an 83-50 victory over the St. Mary's Academy Belles. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 24 points or more this season.

St. Mary's Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Layia King, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. King has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more boards the last 27 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ebbony Wilson, who posted 13 points and eight rebounds.

Union's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for St. Mary's Academy, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-5.

Union wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 77-53 victory against South Salem on the 28th. As for St. Mary's Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-37 win against Grant on the 28th.
