The Lindenwold Lions and the Collingswood Panthers will face off at 5:30 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Lindenwold pushed their score all the way to 65 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Gloucester City 69-65. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lindenwold in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost seven in a row.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Collingswood, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 70-54 loss to the Thundering Herd on Tuesday.
Lindenwold dropped their record down to 5-12 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Collingswood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
Lindenwold didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Panthers in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 61-55 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lindenwold since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
