Clyde-Savannah got themselves on the board against North Rose-Wolcott on Wednesday, but North Rose-Wolcott never followed suit. They had just enough and edged out the Cougars 1-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Golden Eagles, who have now won three games in a row.

North Rose-Wolcott's batters probably weren't too happy with Jackson Barr, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 13 Ks (he gave up zero walks).

On the hitting side, Clyde-Savannah saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Garrett Carr, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Carr is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Clyde-Savannah's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for North Rose-Wolcott, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Clyde-Savannah didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-1 loss against Gananda Central on the 22nd. As for North Rose-Wolcott, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-4 defeat against East Rochester on the 17th.
