The Buchtel Griffins's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They lost to Norwayne at home by a decisive 61-47 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Buchtel of the 53-19 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

Buchtel's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Barberton at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th. Buchtel is facing Barberton at the right time seeing as Barberton is stuck on a 11-game losing streak. As for Norwayne, they will head out on the road to challenge Chippewa at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Chippewa will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Norwayne surely won't give up without a fight.
