After losing to South Stanly the last time they met, Piedmont decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Piedmont Panthers walked away with  a   9-4  win over the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls  on Wednesday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Panthers.
The team  relied heavily on  Reagan Loving, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Taylyn Steele, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.

 Looking ahead, Piedmont will be playing in front of their home fans against Weddington  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Weddington's pitching crew has only allowed 1.8  runs per game  this season, so Piedmont's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for South Stanly, they will venture away from home to  challenge West Stanly  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
