The Joliet West Tigers won the last time they faced the Plainfield Central Wildcats, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. Joliet West claimed a resounding  66-32 victory over Plainfield Central at home. That  66-32 margin sets a new team best for Joliet West this season.
  Maziah Shelton continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 23 points. The  matchup was  her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Khiana Tyler, who  scored 13 points.
 Joliet West has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Plainfield Central, they are  on a six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7.
 Joliet West will head out on the road to face off against Plainfield North at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Plainfield North is coming into the  contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Plainfield Central, they will be playing at home against Yorkville at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Yorkville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Plainfield Central in Illinois (Yorkville is ranked 101st, while Plainfield Central is ranked 522nd).
