Williams Valley Gets a Boost from Shomper in 47-0 Win
Starting off the list is Williams Valley's Brady Shomper, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Shomper threw for 224 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 9-for-9 passing, and also rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.

Niko Castillo Delivers Best Performance of Season
Schuylkill Haven was led to victory by Niko Castillo, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Castillo rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
On the season, Castillo has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 65.4 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 2.14 rushing yards per game.

If the past is any indication, Gemberling could be in store for another big game when he takes on Mahanoy Area on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Gemberling saw the Golden Bears), he rushed for 168 yards and a touchdown.
