The Braddock Bulldogs will square off against the Coral Shores Hurricanes at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Braddock 2.4, Coral Shores 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Braddock's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Florida Christian 2-0.

Braddock got a great performance from Miguel Diaz as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Diaz has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brayan Martinez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Manny Sanchez was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, Coral Shores waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They put the hurt on the Rays with a sharp 14-4 victory. Considering the Hurricanes have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Glade Harrelson looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).
On the hitting side, Eddie Holly was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-3. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Campbell Lavoie, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
Coral Shores hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mater Bay Academy struck out eight times.
Braddock has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That lines up perfectly with their 16-5-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Coral Shores, they pushed their record up to 16-1-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Braddock hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .348. However, it's not like Coral Shores struggles in that department as they've averaged .383. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
