Volleyball Recap: Forsyth Central's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Forsyth Central lost to Mount Pisgah Christian back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Patriots.

While Forsyth Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 26-24.

Forsyth Central was led to victory by Sydney Carr and Izzy Sharp. Carr had 13 digs and three aces, while Sharp had 21 assists and eight digs. Those three aces gave Carr a new career-high.

As for Mount Pisgah Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Collins Hill on the 9th.
