Josh Jones had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.5 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Shawnie Bennett, who posted eight points and eight boards.
Roxborough smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, everything went High School of the Future's way against Northeast on Saturday as High School of the Future made off with a 73-51 win.
High School of the Future's win came from a few key players Roxborough will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Malik Jones, who put up 27 points. Kasheef Williams was another key player, putting up 21 points.
High School of the Future's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Roxborough, they are also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Roxborough hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 55.7 points per game. However, it's not like High School of the Future struggles in that department as they've been averaging 62.3 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Roxborough didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against High School of the Future in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 57-51 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was High School of the Future's A Jeune, who scored 32 points. Now that he won't be playing on Tuesday, will it be easier for Roxborough to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
