The Ribault Trojans will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Andrew Jackson Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Ribault's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over Raines. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won four in a row.
Cristhian Leyva-Morales made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Leyva-Morales was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

| 03/06/25 @ ED White | 1 |
| 02/18/25 @ Andrew Jackson | 1 |
In other batting news, Ashton Wiggins was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Andrew Jackson hadn't done well against Westside recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 18-8 margin over the Wolverines. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Like Ribault, Andrew Jackson also got a great game from a two-way player: Lamar Stanfield. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit. Stanfield was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with five stolen bases, five runs, and four RBI. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.5 stolen bases per game.
In other batting news, Dashawn Pratt and CJ Logan did most of the damage at the plate: Pratt got on base in both of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs, while Logan got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Another player making a difference was Tristan Raines, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases.
Andrew Jackson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .643. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Ribault's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Andrew Jackson, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Ribault has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Andrew Jackson struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Ribault's way against Andrew Jackson in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, as Ribault made off with a 14-3 win. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
