After a string of three wins, the Udall Eagles's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They fell to Caldwell  43-38. Udall was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Caldwell apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in December of 2023.
 Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Kayl Knapp, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 15 points and nine  rebounds. Knapp hasn't dropped below two  steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lilly Hoffman, who  scored 14 points along with seven  rebounds and two  steals.
 Even though they lost, Udall  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Udall's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Caldwell, their win bumped their record up to 2-16.
 Udall will head out on the road to  square off against  Goessel at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Goessel has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Caldwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
