The Hamilton Heights Huskies will face off against the Logansport Berries at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Hamilton Heights 3.5, Logansport 1.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Hamilton Heights is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest defeat since May 17, 2025 on Thursday. They fell just short of Fishers by a score of 9-7.
Hannah Dent was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run and three runs. Another player making a difference was Ellie Engle, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double.
Meanwhile, Logansport waltzed into their game on Wednesday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Wildkats an 11-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Berries, who have now won eight matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Adrienne Scott was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 11 contests. Ellie Montgomery was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run.
Logansport's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Hamilton Heights, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Hamilton Heights has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.6 hits per game. However, it's not like Logansport struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 2.8 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Hamilton Heights couldn't quite get it done against Logansport when the teams last played back in May of 2025 as they fell 4-0. Can the Huskies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
