On Friday, Shaw take on Leland at LELAND HS at 7:00 PM. Shaw will be strutting in after a win while Leland will be stumbling in from a loss.
Shaw had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their game against West Tallahatchie last Friday 12-0.
Meanwhile,, Leland couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. Leland weren't too far behind, but the team still lost 12-18 to Amanda Elzy last week.
Leland's defeat took them down to 0-1 while Shaw's victory pulled them up to write [team] current record. A win for Leland would reverse both their bad luck and Shaw's good luck. We'll see if Leland manages to pull off that tough task or if Shaw keeps their momentum going instead.
