Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Checotah kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since was before the start of last season.
Sallisaw's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Checotah, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
