Bowne extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping their season record up to 7-2 in the process. They blew past the Bryant Owls 9-1. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by eight runs or more this season.

As for Bryant, they now have a losing record of 2-3. The game marked their lowest-scoring match so far this season.

For Bryant's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Cepin, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Cepin has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played. Sheikh Islam also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Bowne has already played their next contest (against Bryant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for the Owls, they will head out on the road to face off against Long Island City at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Bryant is facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
