Attleboro had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Newton South Lions with a sharp 12-2 victory on Sunday. The Bombardiers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Attleboro pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Newton South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-8.

As of now, neither Attleboro nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
