The Cold Springs Eagles''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 54-46 win over Greene County. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Matt Williams had a dynamite game for Cold Springs, rushing for 205 yards and four touchdowns. Samuel Turner was another key contributor, picking up 60 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Despite the loss, Greene County still got an impressive performance from Ronald Wilder jr., who rushed for 226 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.1 yards per carry.
Cold Springs' victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Greene County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
