 In other batting news, Unioto let  Megan Miller and  Alexis Book loose on the outfield. Miller  scored three  runs while going 3-for-3, while  Book  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Abbie Marshall, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Unioto pushed their record up to 8-2 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.5 runs per game. As for Circleville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
