The Harding Presidents were the 75-66 winner over the Trumbull Eagles when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Harding was outmatched by Trumbull on the road and fell 74-39. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Harding has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Harding lost on Wednesday, one person who can't be blamed is Guillaume Mulenga Jr.. Despite the final result, he scored eight points along with six rebounds. Jamaar Wright Jr. was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds.
Harding's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-3. As for Trumbull, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Harding will be playing in front of their home fans against Weston at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Trumbull, they will head out on the road to face off against Westhill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
