Stewart County took a serious blow against Early County, falling 49-11. Stewart County has struggled against Early County recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Among those leading the charge was Jacorra Russell, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lateria Betha, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
Stewart County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Early County, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stewart County will take on Mitchell County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Early County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Randolph-Clay at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
