Dowling Catholic stacked a fourth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They really took it to Sioux City North for the full four quarters, racking up a 43-9 win at home. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Dowling Catholic had established a 30 point advantage.
It was another big night for RaShawd Davis, who rushed for 119 yards and three touchdowns. Davis hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for four straight games.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Sioux City East's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a serious blow against Johnston, falling 48-13. Sioux City East was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-0.
Dowling Catholic's victory lifted them to 8-1 while Sioux City East's loss dropped them down to 5-4.
