King William kept up with Mathews until halftime on Wednesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Blue Devils never let the Cavaliers get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Mathews, who have now won four matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Mathews pushed their record up to 7-2-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for King William, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1.
