Donnayja Gibson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 35 points and 16 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Taylor Lane, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Despite the loss, Rancho still got an impressive performance from Claudia Vargas-Arellano, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Vargas-Arellano is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Taylor Dagons was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Sierra Vista has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Rancho, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
