Krondis Larry added two as well as
Washington (Miami, Fla.) bested North Broward Prep (Coconut Creek, Fla.) 71-0 on Saturday.
The Tornadoes were up 49-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Treon Harris to
Nicholas Norris in the first quarter.
Washington expanded its lead to 64 points entering the fourth quarter. WHS scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Walton.
With the win the Miami school extended its winning streak to nine games. The Tornadoes defeated the Spartans 35-6 last week.
Walton stood out for Washington in the win. The freshman running back kicked nine extra points. A member of the Class of 2016 Top 50 Watch List, Walton has now scored nine touchdowns on the season.
WHS went into the matchup giving up only 12.7 points per game. The zero points that the Eagles ended with were well below their average of 28.8 coming into the game.
