After flying high against the Pritzker Jaguars last Wednesday, the ITW David Speer Academy Pride came back down to earth. ITW David Speer Academy fell 51-40 to Niles North on Tuesday.
Despite the loss, ITW David Speer Academy still got an impressive performance from Miabella Collazo, who scored 18 points along with eight steals and two blocks. Collazo is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Roshaunda Wilson, who scored eight points along with six blocks and five rebounds.
ITW David Speer Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3. As for Niles North, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-15.
ITW David Speer Academy will head out on the road to square off against Schurz at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Schurz is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Niles North, they will be playing at home against Vernon Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
