After a string of four wins, Ravenwood's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 4-1 to the Independence Eagles. The game marked the Raptors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Ravenwood's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 10-2-1. As for Independence, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

While Ravenwood had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
