They were dealt a 35-0 defeat at the hands of Ansonia. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Oxford in their matchups with Ansonia: they've now lost nine in a row.
Despite the loss, Oxford still got an impressive performance from Matthew Mcguire, who rushed for 119 yards.
Oxford's loss dropped their record down to 8-1. As for Ansonia, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0.
