Southmont took their matchup on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-14 win over Fountain Central. The Mounties' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Christian Kramer had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 252 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry.
North Putnam wouldn't let North Montgomery keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. North Putnam can thank Khalid Hassar and Paxton O'Brien for forcing both of them.
Southmont took their victory against North Putnam in their previous meeting back in August of 2023 by a conclusive 56-33. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Kramer, who rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 177 yards and a touchdown.
