Basketball Recap: East Lake Piles Up the Points Against Largo

East Lake entered their tilt with Largo on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They breezed by the Largo Packers to the tune of 72-41. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Leading East Lake to victory were Jeremiah Cooper and Jordan Bryant. Cooper went 9 for 18 en route to 26 points and seven assists, while Bryant dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. Those seven assists gave Cooper a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Andre Willis, who posted 12 points and six boards.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: East Lake was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

East Lake pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Largo, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

East Lake will head out to square off against River Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Largo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tarpon Springs at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
