Softball Recap: Northside Methodist Academy Takes a Loss

Northside Methodist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Rehobeth Rebels, falling 15-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 14-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Northside Methodist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Rehobeth, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-12-1 record this season.

Northside Methodist Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cottonwood at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Rehobeth, they will head out on the road to take on Russell County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
