Page moved up to 80 from 115 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AA District 12. The Patriots were able to make the jump by besting Hickman County 42-13.
Giles County extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Summit, 47-7. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Damian Lockridge was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 195 yards on 23 carries as Page topped the Bulldogs. Teammate Zak Mizell added to the ground attack by rushing for 48 yards.
Al Cobb put up the best numbers through the air as Giles County topped the Spartans. He finished with a total of 15 completions for 204 yards and three touchdowns. Cobb's favorite target this week was Lucas Harrison, who caught three passes for 60 yards.
Desalle was the best wideout in AA District 12 this week as the Patriots bested Hickman County. Desalle tallied five receptions for 93 yards. Ryan Holguin helped Page's passing attack out by catching one ball for 39 yards.
David O'Connor's team's Cobb and Kenton Baker have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Cobb has thrown for 1584 yards this season, while Baker, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has 46 catches for 853 yards. Lewis County's Ryan Bell leads the league in rushing yards with 589.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Bobcats take on the Panthers. At the moment, Giles County is in first, while Lewis County is in fifth.
Bobby Sharp's team and Marshall County played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Bobby Sharp's team eventually emerging with a 33-28 victory.
