The Glencoe Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Oklahoma Bible Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Having struggled with nine losses in a row, Glencoe turned things around against Depew on Monday. They never let the Hornets get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The Panthers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 24th (when they won 17-6).

Logan Minor was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Glencoe is undefeated when Minor posts three or more RBI, but 2-14 otherwise. Teagan Voight was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Glencoe always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .630. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma Bible made easy work of Waukomis on Monday and carried off an 11-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Oklahoma Bible got a massive performance out of Ben Burrell, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Dinnin, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Oklahoma Bible now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Glencoe, their record is now 5-14.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Glencoe has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .479. However, it's not like Oklahoma Bible struggles in that department as they've averaged .443. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Glencoe came up short against Oklahoma Bible when the teams last played last Saturday, falling 7-3. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
