North Rock Creek Gets a Boost from Hawkins in 41-34 Victory
Starting off the list is North Rock Creek's Caleb Hawkins, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hawkins rushed for 206 yards and four touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 57 yards.
North Rock Creek's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-2. Hawkins and North Rock Creek will be playing at home against Purcell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Birdwell Posts Huge Game in 46-23 Loss
Kingfisher was sadly handed a defeat on Thursday, but Jhett Birdwell did his best to prevent it. Heritage Hall had no answer to Birdwell as he threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 15.1 yards per attempt.
On the season, Birdwell has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 229.5 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 26.5 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 55.67 rushing yards.

On Friday, North Rock Creek got the W thanks in part to Jordan Mcclain Jr playing the best football he has all season. Mcclain Jr picked up a sack and made 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
