The Orlando Science Orcas's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 55-18 loss at the hands of Geneva. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Orlando Science has scored all season.
Orlando Science's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Armin Ashori, who scored six points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Christian Harris, who scored five points.
Orlando Science dropped their record down to 4-13 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Geneva, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orlando Science on the road again on Monday and play against Regency Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 29th. Regency Christian Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Geneva, Geneva and First Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
