Two dominant in Tychelle Gordon and Arissa Jenkins are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Having just played yesterday, the East Ridge Knights will get right back to it and host the Haines City Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
East Ridge had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 53-35 win over Olympia on Monday.
Meanwhile, Haines City scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Sebring 65-36 at home. Considering Haines City has won four games by more than 26 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
East Ridge's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Haines City, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
Things could have been worse for East Ridge, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 59-44 loss to Haines City in their previous matchup back in February of 2021. Can East Ridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
