Marionville not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 11th (when they won 11-1). Everything went their way against the Hurley Tigers as they made off with a 13-4 win.

Marionville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Hurley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14-1.

Coming up, Marionville will face off against New Heights Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Comets surely won't give up without a fight. Hurley has already played their next contest (against Bradleyville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
