She has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last six times she's played. Gemaiyia Johnson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Douglas Byrd were working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Gray's Creek came up short against the Falcons on Tuesday and fell 53-40. Gray's Creek has struggled against the Falcons recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Douglas Byrd's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Gray's Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
