A Season-Best  Effort from  Xavier Perez Leads Organ Mountain over Clovis
 Organ Mountain was led to victory by  Xavier Perez, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Perez rushed for 167 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 153 yards and a touchdown.
 For the year,  Perez  has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 95.2 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after eight games last season,  he was only averaging 9.9  passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 58.9  passer rating.

Rios Came Up Big in Centennial's  51-12  Victory
  Rudy Rios's big game helped extend Centennial's winning streak to seven on Friday. Rios turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, while also catching a touchdown.
 Centennial's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-0. Rios' next  game is against Organ Mountain on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid  effort.

Kason Perez Goes Supernova in Carlsbad Win
 Carlsbad took down Alamogordo  on Friday, a win that might not have happened without  Kason Perez's standout  effort. Alamogordo had no answer to  Perez  as he threw for 265 yards and three touchdowns.
 The  victory  got Carlsbad back to even at 4-4. Perez and Carlsbad will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Las Cruces at 7:00  p.m.  on October 25th.

Jordan Lucas Delivers Best  Effort of Season
 Centennial was led to victory by  Jordan Lucas, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Lucas rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 54 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 59 yards.
 This season,  Lucas  has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 62.7 receiving yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 34  receiving yards per game.

Big Game from Davis As Centennial Won 51-12
  Zaiden Davis's big game helped extend Centennial's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop  Davis as he rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes.
 On the year,  Davis  has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 112.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he had 11  rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 19.
