They put the hurt on Crawford County with a sharp 54-30 win. Lamar County has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.
Shakiria Foster continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Lamar County's points. Another player making a difference was Zakiria Foster, who scored nine points along with seven assists and three steals.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jada Harris, who scored 13 points. Jakayla Peeples was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Lamar County's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for Crawford County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

As for Crawford County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Temple at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Temple presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Crawford County in Georgia (Temple is ranked 219th, while Crawford County is ranked 455th).
