Abingdon came tearing into Monday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Union Bears get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. Considering Abingdon have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Abingdon's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for Union, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.
