Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Elizabeth walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Brush Beetdiggers on Saturday, sneaking past 38-35. Winning may never get old, but the Cardinals sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Elizabeth got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tristan McCray out in front who rushed for 118 yards and one TD. Griffin Widhalm helped out on the ground, rushing for 82 yards and a rushing touchdown.
